.....then there's really no need to write a full blog when we've already got 227,000 new 'words' posted on our picasa albums. sorry for the lack of updates, during the week we're busy with work, and then on weekends we're always exploring the area, so we've been blog slackers (blockers?)....but the pictures really do capture it: a second surfing day at Mission Beach, Balboa park, another Padres game, and some family visits (Adam, Allie, and cousin Jimmy) for the 4th. Looking forward to more visits, as Mom DiGiulio arrives tomorrow morning....we'll miss Big Phil though since he wasn't able to make the trip this time.
One quick story so the blog isn't too lackluster....we got our webcam setup and have been video-skyping with the parents, and even got Matt's Grandparents and Great-grandmom on one day! Just shy of her 99th bday, we have to think great-grandmom may be the oldest person to ever Skype...pretty cool. (Although as you can see from the snapshot, we only caught the top half of her face.)
